Sonic Bloom Wine Weigela is a deciduous shrub. It will be moderate in size, reaching to 5 feet tall. This weigela will have a great deal of ornamental appeal, perfect for your landscape! The foliage is very attractive, dark green, with dark burgundy overtones. It will provide the plant with an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The trumpet shaped flowers of the Sonic Bloom Wine Weigela are bright pink in color. They will bloom in abundance from spring into summer. The flowers are great for attracting hummingbirds!

Weigela florida ‘SMNWFG’ will be 4 to 5 feet tall, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Sonic Bloom Wine Weigela will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
