Solar Flare Flame Flower is a perennial plant. It can be a taller plant, reaching 3.5 feet tall. This plant will form as a lower growing mound of foliage, with flowers held on stems above. The Solar Flare Flame Flower would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are narrow and arching, deep green in color. They will give the plant a nice appearance through the growing season. The flower spikes are quite unique with tubular small flowers. The flowers are bright yellow in color, blooming all through the summertime. Great for attracting a variety of pollinators!

Kniphofia ‘Solar Flare’ will be 3 to 3.5 feet tall, with a width of 24 to 30 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Solar Flare Flame Flower will tend to do well in full sunlight conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it will have good drought tolerance.
