General Information
Tianshan Seven Sons is a large. multi-stemmed, deciduous shrub or small tree. It works well in a variety of full sun to part shade locations, even heavy clay soil. It does not tolerate standing water. Unlike other trees, Seven Sons blooms in September with open, white flowers which attract a wide range of pollinators, including monarch butterflies. After the flowers have faded, the calyx will provide wonderful reddish-purple color, appearing as if the plant is reblooming. As it matures, the trunk(s) will develop attractive, exfoliating bark in shades of tan and white.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
