Sea Lavender

General Information

Sea Lavender is a perennial plant. It is a moderate size for a perennial, reaching to 30 inches tall. This plant will provide nice ornamental appeal for a variety of landscaping spaces. The foliage will be a lower growing clump. The leaves will be a very nice blue green in color. In warmer climates, leaves may be semi-evergreen. Large, open sprays of lavender-blue flowers blooming from mid to late summer. The flowers are great for cut flower arrangements and are attractive to pollinators.

Additional Information

Limonium latifolium will be 18 to 30 inches tall, with a width of 12 to 18 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 9. Sea Lavender will grow well in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it can develop good drought tolerance.
