General Information
Sweet Drift Rose is a great plant that could be used in a variety of different ways in your landscape. This is a very easy to handle groundcover rose. It is small in size, only growing about 3 feet or so wide. It can grow along pathways, borders or as a great accent plant in a larger landscaped area. It has a bushy look, combining nice foliage with spectacular flowers, to make a truly great look. The leaves are smaller in size and are oval in shape with serrated edges. They have a glossy appearance and a nice green color. The leaves grow fairly densely, giving the plant good, full overall look. The blooms are moderate in size, with a very special look. They bloom in clusters, with double blooms and layers of beautiful rose petals. The flowers have a nice light to medium pink color, with a small hint of yellow at the center of the flower. These flowers bloom from spring all the way until the first frost.
Additional Information
Rosa 'Meiswetdom' grows to a height of 1 to 2 feet, with a spread of 2 to 3 feet. It is recommended for climate zones 4 to 10. It grows best in full sunlight. Sweet Drift Rose grows best in well drained soils with moderate amounts of moisture. It is not known to have any serious disease or insect issues.
