General Information

Rose Creek Abelia is a very ornamental shrub. It will be evergreen in the south, but will be deciduous in cooler spots. This shrub will have a compact, rounded overall growth habit. This abelia would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves will be deep green with a pinkish tint in the springtime. They will be dark green in the summer and fall. During the winter, they tend to develop a purple tint. Abundant clusters of flowers in the summertime. They are pure white in color with deep pink sepals.

Abelia x chinensis ‘Rose Creek’ will be 2 to 3 feet wide, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 6 to 9. Rose Creek Abelia can grow in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
