General Information
Vanilla Twist Redbud is an ornamental deciduous tree. It is a small tree, reaching 8 feet tall. This tree has a weeping form, with branches arching downward. It is a great choice as an accent tree in a variety of landscaping areas. The Vanilla Twist Redbud will bloom in great abundance in the early springtime. The small flowers grow all along the branches, a beautiful bright white in color. Following the flowers, very attractive bright green, heart shaped leaves appear. The leaves can turn a nice yellow in the fall. They will keep a nice appearance through the growing seasons.

Cercis canadensis 'Vanilla Twist' will be 6 to 8 feet tall, with a spread of 5 to 6 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Vanilla Twist Redbud will grow well in full to partial sun conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
