General Information
Red Riding Hood Phlox is a beautiful perennial plant. It is moderate in size, at up to 22 inches tall. This phlox will have an upright habit, with flowers held above the foliage. Red Riding Hood Phlox would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage grows nice and densely, dark green in color. It will provide an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers bloom in abundance beginning in the midsummer. The large flower clusters are a very attractive bright red in color. The flowers are great for attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators.

Phlox paniculata ‘Red Riding Hood’ will be 18 to 22 inches tall, with a spread of 16 to 20 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Red Riding Hood Phlox will grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
