Bottle Rocket Heart to Heart Caladium is typically an annual plant. It is however, quite adaptable for use as a houseplant. This 'fancy leaf' caladium will typically grow best if planted outdoors once temperatures remain warm in your area. This plant is very ornamental, with full, dense growth and overall mix of leaf colors. The are broad and heart shaped in overall appearance. The leaves will be a wonderful mix of colors. Green margins with white, comprising much of the leaf. This is highlighted by a bright red center and broad red veining. The Bottle Rocket Caladium is a wonderful highlight or centerpiece for your landscape or containers.
Additional Information
Caladium hortulanum 'Bottle Rocket' will be 15 to 20 inches tall, with a width of 10 to 14 inches. Depending upon the area you live in, Caladiums will do well in full sun to full shade conditions. They will also be great in a sunroom or sunny windowsill in the house. They will do well with average amounts of moisture.
