Pumpkin Hypericum

General Information

Pumpkin Hypericum is a delightful shrub.  It is smaller in size, growing to three feet in height.  It has an upright form, with a great deal of ornamental appeal.  The are oval in shape.  They are dark green in color, giving the plant a nice appearance through the growing season.  In the springtime, the flowers bloom in abundance.  They have five petals and are bright yellow.  Following the flowers, berries form.  They mature in the fall to a very attractive bright orange.  The berries are great in decorative autumn arrangements! 

Additional Information

Hypericum inodorum ‘Kolmapuki’  grpw s to a height of 30 to 36 inches, with a spread of 24 to 30 inches.  It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9.  Grow best in full sunlight.  Pumpkin Hypericum does best with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
