General Information

Prince of Orange Poppy is a great perennial plant.  It can grow fairly large in height, at 30 inches tall.  It is great for flower beds, borders or a variety of other landscaping areas.  The foliage is a very nice grey-green color.  The flowers are quite large, at 4 to 5 inches wide.  They are in bloom during the late spring to early summer time.  The crepe-paper like petals have a golden to bright orange color, with a purple-black center seed cone.  This plant will go dormant after the flowers have finished blooming.
