Pincushion Ornamental Onion is a perennial plant. This is a compact plant, reaching just 14 inches tall and wide. Its form and visual appeal make it a perfect choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. The foliage of the Pincushion Ornamental Onion will be blue-green in color, with a narrow, upright growth habit. The flowers will be lavender-purple in color. They will bloom in abundant clusters in the later summertime. The flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies!

Pincushion Ornamental Onion will grow well in full to part sun conditions. It will do well average amounts of moisture in a variety of soil conditions. Once established, it can have good drought tolerance.
