The blossoms of the Bartzella Itoh Peony are large, bright yellow, double blossoms with a flame red center. They rise above the rich, dark green, deeply dissected foliage. Foliage remains attractive even after flowering. The Bartzella Itoh is a vigorous peony with sturdy flower stems. Blossoms have a slight, spicy fragrance. Blooms late spring. Bartzella was developed by peony breeder Roger Anderson. Itoh peonies are a cross between tree peonies and herbaceous peonies. Exquisite blooms for cut flower arrangements. Beautiful choice for a border or boundary line. Add great color to your spring garden or landscape.

Paeonia x 'Bartzella' grows best in Part to Full Sun. It will grow 2 to 3 feet tall with a similar width. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Deer resistant.
