General Information
Pearl Glam Beautyberry is an ornamental deciduous shrub. It grows in an upright fashion. It has a great ornamental appeal, perfect for a variety of landscaping areas. Adding to the quality of this beautyberry is the foliage. It is purplish-green in color, keeping a great appearance all through the growing season. In the summertime, clusters of white flowers form, followed by berries. The berries mature to pinkish-purple in autumn. They tend to be quite abundant and with the foliage, give the plant a very nice appearance.
Additional Information
Callicarpa x ‘NCCX2’ grows to a height of 4 to 5 feet, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 8. It tends to do best when planted in full sunlight. Pearl Glam Beautyberry does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
