General Information
Pardon Me Daylily is delightful perennial plant. It has great ornamental appeal, and fits well in many landscaping areas. It has the added benefits of being salt tolerant, working well near sidewalks, and under black walnut trees. The foliage forms as a nice clump of long, arching, narrow green leaves. The flowers are smaller, to 3 inches, but bloom in abundance from mid summer into the fall. The flowers are deep red in color, with a greenish-yellow throat. They have a nice fragrance and are attractive to butterflies and hummingbirds.
Additional Information
Hemerocallis ‘Pardon Me’ grows to a height of 16 to 18 inches, with a spread of 18 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. It can grow in full to partial sunlight. Pardon Me does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
