General Information

Mrs N Thompson Clematis is a deciduous perennial vine. This can be a taller clematis, reaching up to 9 feet tall. It will have nice deep green leaves. This provides the plant with a nice appearance through the growing seasons. This is a type 2 clematis, with flowers blooming on both new and old wood. The flowers of the Mrs N Thompson Clematis are violet-purple, with a red stripe in the center petal. Blooms May to June, with a flush of new flowers on new growth late summer. Great for attracting hummingbirds!

Clematis ‘Mrs. N. Thompson’ will reach a height of 4 to 9 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Mrs N Thompson Clematis can grow well in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
