General Information

Mr Mustard False Spirea is a deciduous shrub. It is sized controlled, reaching 3 feet tall. This shrub will have a rounded and slightly spreading overall form. It will work well in a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage will emerge in the spring in a beautiful variety of colors. It is lime green, with accents of yellow, red and orange. The leaves will transition to bright green by later spring. Large creamy-white flower clusters in the summertime. They will be somewhat reminiscent of astilbe flowers. The flowers of the Mr Mustard False Spirea are quite attractive to pollinators!

Additional Information

Sorbaria sorbifolia ‘SMNSSC’ will be 2 to 3 feet tall, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 7. Mr Mustard False Spirea can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
