Description
Moonshine Yarrow
General Information
Moonshine Yarrow is a delightful plant that would fit well in different areas of your landscape. It is an upright growing, compact, and clump-forming plant. It has deeply cut, fern-like leaves. The leaves are silvery to grey-blue in color and have a nice aroma. The individual flowers are quite small, but grow in large, flattened clusters. The long-lasting flowers are bright yellow in color. They bloom from June into September. If they are trimmed back once they have faded, there is a possibility of re-bloom in the early fall.
Additional Information
Achillea ‘Moonshine’ grows to a height of 18 to 24 inches, with a spread of 10 to 12 inches. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 3 to 8. It grows best in full sunlight. Moonshine does its best in well drained soils, with average amounts of moisture. It does not tend to tolerate poorly drained areas.
