Little Quick Fire Hydrangea
General Information
Little Quick Fire Hydrangea is a very delightful shrub. It will fit well in landscaping areas that are in need of a great burst of color. This dwarf version of the regular Quick Fire has the same great qualities as the original, just in a more manageable size. The foliage grows densely on the stems, in a nice dark green color. Each flower cluster can grow up 6 inches in length! The flowers emerge in a bright white color, taking on a pink tint. They will then transition to a showy reddish-pink. These flowers emerge early than many other hydrangeas, blooming from early summer into the fall. These are perfect for cut or dried flower arrangements!
Additional Information
Hydrangea paniculata ‘SMHPLQF’ grows to a height of 3 to 5 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. It can grow in full to partial sunlight. Little Quick Fire does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. It is not known to have any serious disease or insect issues.
