General Information
Blue Paradise Little Bluestem is a beautiful grass that fits well in many areas of your landscape. One of the best qualities is that this grass grows in an upright and columnar fashion. The grass maintains a moderate height at about 40 inches tall. The leaves are narrow in width and maintain a silvery blue-green color throughout the spring and summertime. The grass develops a striking burgundy-purple color during the fall time. In the early fall, small tan colored seed heads emerge.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
