Munstead English Lavender is a perennial plant. It has a shorter, compact growth habit, with great ornamental appeal. Munstead Lavender would be a great choice for your landscape! The foliage is quite attractive, greyish-green in color. It will give the plant an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers spikes will bloom from late spring through the summer. They will have a wonderful fragrance, with a nice lavender-purple color. The flowers of the Munstead Lavender are great for attracting bees and butterflies!

Lavandula angustifolia 'Munstead' will be 12 to 16 inches tall, with a width of 10 to 12 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Munstead Lavender will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average or lower moisture amounts in well draining soils. Once established, it will have nice drought tolerance.
