General Information

Krossa Regal Hosta forms a vase shaped mound of foliage with arching, blue-gray leaves. Tall scapes of lavender flowers rise above the foliage in midsummer. It is a sport of ‘Regal Splendor’.  Attractive blue foliage color makes the Krossa Regal Hosta a great accent plant for your garden or landscape. Use as a filler around other plants in your perennial garden.  Great way to cover the foliage of dying spring bulbs. This popular plant is great as a specimen or mass planting in a border or edging.  Great for woodland gardens, or around the base of large trees.

Care & Shipping Notes

Grow in well-drained moist soil.  Krossa Regal Hosta has great slug resistance.  Slugs can be a problem with hostas.  Watch for holes in the leaves which are a sign of slugs.  Apply slug bait in early spring to help prevent slugs from becoming a problem.  Clean the foliage up and out of the garden during early winter.  By doing this, it will eliminate the area of slug eggs.  No other serious insect or disease problems.  May be divided after 3 years.  NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI. Also, WE NO LONGER SHIP TO CALIFORNIA due to Department of Ag restrictions on live plants.
