General Information
Kobold Gayfeather is a perennial plant. It is a medium sized perennial, reaching 2 feet tall. It will have a good deal of ornamental appeal, great for a variety of landscaping areas. The leaves are longer and narrow, deep green in color. It will keep a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Kobold Gayfeather blooms in abundance in the summertime. The upright flower spikes are an attractive pinkish-lavender in color. They are great for attracting butterflies!

Liatris spicata ’Kobold’ will be 18 to 24 inches tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Kobold Gayfeather will do well in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it will have good drought tolerance.
