The foliage of Sea Green Juniper emerges yellow-green and matures to a lovely sea green, and may darken in winter. It has compact form with lovely, arching branches. Foliage maintains good year round interest. Sea Green is a great choice for a foundation planting. Use as a low border or hedge. Common name: Chinese Juniper.

Juniperus chinensis 'Sea Green' grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 4 to 6 feet tall with a spread of 6 to 8 feet. Plant in zones 4 to 9. Heat and cold tolerant. Deer resistant. Tolerates some drought once established. Tolerates air pollution. Will grow well in shallow, rocky soil.
