General Information
Jetstream Hydrangea is a deciduous shrub. It is moderate in size, reaching 6 feet tall. This oakleaf hydrangea is an improvement, with a compact and upright overall habit. It is a great choice for your landscape! The leaves are very similar to those of oak trees. They will be dark green through the spring and summer months. In the fall, they will be a very attractive reddish-orange. The large, conical flower clusters bloom abundantly from summer into early fall. The blooms emerge white, gaining a pink tint as they mature. Interesting exfoliating bark as the Jetstream Hydrangea matures.
Additional Information
Hydrangea quercifolia ‘PIIHQ-I’ will be 5 to 6 feet tall, with a spread of 4 to 5 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 8. Jetstream Hydrangea can grow well in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
