General Information

Independence NewGen Boxwood is an evergreen shrub. It will have a nice rounded overall form. This boxwood have medium vigor, growing at a rate of 2 to 4 inches per year. Another benefit of this boxwood is its good levels of resistance to boxwood blight and boxwood leafminers. The foliage of the Independence NewGen Boxwood will be a very attractive glossy deep green in color. This plant would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas.

Additional Information

Buxus ‘SB 108’ will be 3 to 4 feet tall, with a similar width. It is recommended for USDA planting zones 5 to 8. Independence NewGen Boxwood will do well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils. Some bronzing may occur during the winter. Trim to shape in the late winter to early springtime.
