General Information

Hidcote Lavender is a perennial plant. It is moderate in size, growing to 18 inches tall. It has an overall upright, compact growth habit. Hidcote Lavender would be an ideal choice for your garden or in the landscape. It has attractive grey-green foliage that will keep a nice appearance through the growing season. The flowers bloom in abundance from midsummer to early fall. They are violet-purple in color, with a delightful fragrance. The flowers are great for cut flower arrangements or in potpourri.

Lavandula angustifolia ‘Hidcote’ reaches 16 to 18 inches in height, with a spread of 12 to 15 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Hidcote Lavender tends to do best when planted in full sun conditions. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
