General Information
Arching green leaves grow in an upright clump on the Hameln Dwarf Fountain Grass. Silvery white spikes of bottlebrush like flowers emerge from the foliage. As they mature and dry they turn buff or tan. 'Hameln' refers to the German town of Hamelin which is famous for the folk tale of the Pied Piper. Good winter interest. Great choice for a ground cover. Use Hameln Dwarf on hills and ditches to prevent soil erosion. Use as a specimen plant for small areas. Plant in mass for a border front or along streams and ponds. Add extra texture, color and contrast to your home or rock garden.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
