E.T. Fern (Polypodium Formosanum 'Cristatum'), 6" Pot
E.T. Fern is one of the most unique ferns you can add to your indoor plant collection. Its fuzzy, bright-green creeping rhizomes grow across the soil surface and over the edge of the pot, resembling tiny caterpillars or the famous fingers of E.T. Above the rhizomes, twisting gray-green fronds emerge with an unusual crested appearance that adds texture, movement, and character to any space.
Perfect for desktops, bookshelves, plant cabinets, terrariums, bathrooms, and bright indoor spaces where humidity levels are naturally higher. Its unusual rhizomes make it a conversation-starting addition to plant collections, while its compact growth habit works beautifully in apartments, offices, and smaller indoor spaces.
Pet-Friendly: Yes, safe for pets.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
