Dwarf Alberta Spruce

General Information

Originating from the northern borders of the United States and Canada, the Dwarf Alberta Spruce is a natural dwarfing selection of the common spruce trees found in the area.  Dense thick growth habit makes it a natural for screens as well as topiary designs.  Lovely in a mass planting or a single container specimen.

Additional Information

The Dwarf Alberta Spruce should be deeply watered regularly duing its first growing season while the roots are getting established.   Fertilize in the early spring before new growth emerges.  Prune to maintain shape or let the Dwarf Alberta Spruce grow naturally in a dense, conical form.
