General Information

China Boy Holly is an evergreen shrub. It can grow to be larger in size, at up to 10 feet tall. This shrub will have a nice, dense, upright and rounded overall form. China Boy Holly can fit well in a variety of landscaping areas. It will have very attractive glossy, dark green evergreen leaves. They will give the plant a nice appearance year-round. This holly will have small white flower clusters in the spring. This male holly plant is the ideal companion for the China Girl Holly. It can pollinate up to 10 plants.

Additional Information

Ilex ‘Mesdob’ will be 7 to 10 feet tall, with a spread of 5 to 8 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. China Boy Holly can do well in full to partial sunlight. It will grow well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
