General Information
China Blu Boy & Girl Holly grows in a compact, upright form. No pollinator is needed for this holly that contains both the Boy and the China Boy® and China Girl®. It is a hardy, broadleaf evergreen shrub. The foliage of the China Blu Boy & Girl is rich, glossy and dark green. Bright red berries give a great contrast to the dark leaves. The berries persist throughout winter. Great for foundation plantings, accents, shrub borders and hedges. Use the cut berry stems in Christmas decorations and wreaths.

Ilex meserve Boy& Girl grows best in Full to Part Sun. It will grow 3-4′ tall with a similar spread. Plant in zones 5 to 8. Cold hardy. Tolerates air pollution.

Plant in average, well drained soil. No serious insect or disease problems. Leaf miners, scale and mites may be pests. Leaves may yellow from improper soil acidity.
