General Information
Fire Ball Burning Bush is a deciduous shrub. It grows in a somewhat more compact fashion, to 7 feet tall. It grows in a nice, full rounded overall habit. The shrub has nice, winged stems, giving added interest during the winter season. During the growing seasons, the foliage is a very attractive dark green in color. The main attraction comes in the fall. The leaves are a beautiful bright red in color. The Fire Ball Burning Bush has improved, tighter branching and great cold hardiness.
Additional Information
Euonymus alatus 'Select' grows to a height of 5 to 7 feet, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. This burning bush does best when planted in full sunlight. Fire Ball does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Low maintenance, easy care shrub. Once established, it has good drought tolerance.
