General Information
Chocolate Chip Bugleweed is a great plant that could work well in many different areas of your landscape. This is a smaller groundcover plant, growing just 3 inches in height. It works well in many cases as an accent plant, in and around trees, rocks or shady areas. It would also work well in borders and along walkways. It grows as a dense, vigorously growing groundcover. The foliage of the plant is quite interesting. The leaves are very small, just a half inch across. They have an oval shape, with smooth edges and a glossy appearance. The leaves have a color range of chocolate brown, maroon and green. These leaves alone give the plant great ornamental value. It also has beautiful blue-purple flowers in the spring, growing on short, 3 inch, stalks above the foliage.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
