General Information
Buffalo Juniper is an evergreen shrub. It is a lower growing, groundcover shrub. It grows in a multi-stemmed, dense habit to give a nice full overall appearance. It can grow in a variety of different landscaping areas. It looks great in rock gardens, along walkways or draping over walls. The foliage is fairly soft to touch and somewhat feathery in overall appearance. It is a very nice medium green in color, retaining this throughout the year. Buffalo Juniper is a very hardy, low maintenance groundcover shrub.
Additional Information
Juniperus sabina ‘Buffalo’ reaches a height of 10 to 12 inches, with a spread of 6 to 8 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 7. Buffalo Juniper tends to grow best in full sunlight. It does well with average amounts moisture in well drained soils. Exhibits good drought tolerance, once established.
