Fine Line Buckthorn

General Information

The fern like foliage of the Fine Line Buckthorn provides a great vertical accent plant for the narrow spaces of your landscape.   It is a hardy specimen with narrow, dark green foliage that gives it a grass like appearance. Yellow fall color.  Berries are NOT edible. The Fine Line Buckthorn will look great in your landscape as a specimen plant or as a hedge or screen. Excellent size for planting in large containers or pots.

Additional Information

Rhamnus frangula ‘Fine Line’ grows best in Full Sun to Part Shade. It will grow 5 to 7 feet tall with a spread of 3 to 5 feet. Plant in zones 2 to 7. Deer resistant. Attracts birds. Drought tolerant once established.

Care & Shipping Notes

Easy to grow in average, well drained soil. No serious insect or disease problems. May be pruned at any time.  Prune heavily to promote new growth and a healthy plant.  Deadheading is not necessary. NOT AVAILABLE FOR SALE IN THESE US STATES AND TERRITORIES: AK, HI, GM, PR, VI. Also, WE NO LONGER SHIP TO CALIFORNIA due to Department of Ag restrictions on live plants.
