General Information
Fine Line Buckthorn is a deciduous shrub. It can be a taller shrub, reaching upwards of 7 feet. This buckthorn will have an upright shape overall and generally narrow form. The form and ornamental appeal of the Fine Line Buckthorn will make it a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The branches will be upright in growth, dark brown in color. The foliage is quite nice, fine and feathery in texture. It is deep green in color, keeping an attractive appearance through the growing seasons.
Additional Information
Rhamnus frangula 'Fine Line' will be 5 to 7 feet tall, with a width of 2 to 3 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 2 to 7. Fine Line Buckthorn can grow well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once well established, it can have nice drought tolerance.
