General Information
Blue Angel Hosta is perennial plant. This is a large hosta, growing upwards of 3 feet tall and 4 feet wide. It will form as a nice, dense mound of foliage. The Blue Angel Hosta would be a great choice for a variety of shaded landscaping areas. The leaves are large in size, ridged and have a ‘heart’ shape. They are a very attractive blue-green in color. The trumpet shaped flowers bloom on 4 foot tall stems, beginning in the midsummer. They are light lavender in color. The flowers of the Blue Angel Hosta are great for attracting hummingbirds.

Hosta ‘Blue Angel’ will be 30 to 36 inches, with a width of 3 to 4 feet. Flower stems reach up to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. Blue Angel Hosta will do well in full to partial shade conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
