General Information
Backlight Phlox is a beautiful perennial plant. It is larger in size, at up to 30 inches tall. This phlox will have an upright habit, with flowers held above the foliage. Backlight Phlox would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping areas. The foliage grows nice and densely, dark green in color. It will provide an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The flowers bloom in abundance beginning in the midsummer. The large flower clusters are a very attractive bright white in color. The flowers are great for attracting bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
Additional Information
Phlox paniculata ‘Backlight‘ will be 28 to 30 inches tall, with a spread of 20 to 24 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 8. Backlight Phlox will do well in full to partial sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils.
