General Information
Baby Jade Boxwood is a great evergreen shrub. This a perfect plant for borders, foundation plantings or as a low hedge. It grows in a very dense, compact and rounded overall fashion. The leaves are oval shaped and quite small, but grow in abundance to give the shrub a full appearance. They are dark green all throughout the year, with new growth emerging light green. Overall, a great low maintenance evergreen shrub!
Additional Information
Buxus microphylla var. japonica ‘Grejade’ grows to a height of 30 to 36 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Baby Jade can be planted in full to partial sunlight. It does well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Once established, it is said to have a good deal of drought tolerance. Keep in mind that shipping size and height are an average of our plants and can vary by season.
