Autumn Fire Sedum
Autumn Fire Sedum has a tight, upright habit. It has large clusters of rosy, pink flowers that bloom Summer to Fall. If left standing, it retains good winter interest. This plant thrives in drought conditions. Excellent plant for a border, rock garden or mass planting. Autumn Fire holds up longer into the Fall than Autumn Joy.
Sedum spectable ‘Autumn Fire’ grows best in Full Sun. It will grow 24-30″ tall and will spread 18-24″. It does best planted in zones 3 to 9. Attracts bees and butterflies. Seed heads provide food for birds.
Care & Shipping Notes
This very hardy plant is easy to grow and needs little maintenance. Plant in average to poor, well drained soil. Autumn Fire Sedum is drought tolerant once established. Divide every 3 to 4 years. Pinch back stems in early summer to prevent stems from splitting. Autumn Fire Sedum is not usually bothered by pests or diseases.
