Vermillionaire Cuphea is an annual plant. It will have a mounded form, with great ornamental appeal. This cuphea will work well in the landscape or in containers. This plant will have a very nice deep green color, with a lightly glossy appearance. It will grow nice and densely, providing a nice look through the growing seasons. The flowers of the Vermillionaire Cuphea will bloom in abundance from spring planting until frost. The small, tubular flowers are orange, with yellow and red highlights. They are great for attracting hummingbirds!

Cuphea hybrid 'cupver' will be 18 to 24 inches tall, with a width of 12 to 24 inches. This plant will grow well in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture, with well draining soils. This plant will have great drought and heat tolerant qualities.
