Burning Heart Heart to Heart Caladium is typically an annual plant. It is however, quite adaptable for use as a houseplant. This 'fancy leaf' caladium will typically grow best if planted outdoors once temperatures remain warmer in your area. This plant is very ornamental, with full, dense growth and overall mix of colors. The foliage is broad and heart shaped in overall appearance. The leaves will be a wonderful mix of colors. They can be bronze-red to deep red in color. They have pink to orange spots decorating the leaf. The Burning Heart Caladium is a wonderful highlight or centerpiece for your landscape or containers.

Caladium hortulanum 'Burning Heart' will be 15 to 20 inches tall, with a width of 10 to 14 inches. This caladium will do well in sun or shade, but will most typically have the best color in full sun conditions. It will grow well as a houseplant in a sunroom or sunny windowsill. Burning Heart Caladium will do well with average amounts of moisture, typically in well draining soils.
