Whitecaps Stokes Aster is a perennial plant. It will have a nice mounded form, with dense growth and great visual appeal. The foliage will be dark green in color. It provides the plant with a nice appearance throught growing seasons. The flowers are nice and large, up to 3 inches wide. They will be white in color, with a light pink blush. Whitecaps Stokes Aster will bloom in abundance from midsummer to fall. They are attractive to bees and butterflies. This would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping spaces!

Stokesia laevis 'Whitecaps' will be 24 to 26 inches tall, with a width of 32 to 36 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Whitecaps Stokes Aster will tend to do best in full sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well draining soils. Said to have good drought tolerance once established.
