General Information
Red Fox Speedwell is a delightful perennial plant. It is moderate in size at 15 inches tall and wide. It forms as a nice mound of foliage, with flower spikes held above. The leaves are narrow and glossy, with a nice green color. They grow densely, giving the plant a nice full appearance. The individual flowers are quite small, growing in dense clusters. They are reddish-pink in color. They bloom over a long season, typically from late June into August. The flowers are very attractive to butterflies and bees.

Veronica spicata 'Rotfuchs' grows to a height of 12 to 15 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Red Fox can grow in full to partial sunlight. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained, fertile soils. It is not known to have any serious disease or insect issues.
