Riptide Stokes Aster is a perennial plant. It is a plant of moderate size, at two feet tall, with a nice rounded overall growth habit. The leaves will be a nice dark green in color. It will give the plant an attractive appearance through the growing seasons. The lavender-blue flowers are nice size at up to 3 inches wide. Riptide Stokes Aster will bloom in abundance from midsummer to early fall. This will be a great choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. Perfect choice for butterflies and other pollinators!

Stokesia laevis 'Riptide' will be 24 to 28 inches tall, with a width of 32 to 36 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 5 to 9. Riptide Stokes Aster will tend to do best in full sunlight conditions. It will do well with average to lower amounts of moisture in a variety of soil conditions.
