General Information
Night Embers Sedum is a great perennial plant. It is perfect for borders, flower beds, containers and a variety of other landscaping areas. This plant grows in a narrow, vase shaped and upright habit. The foliage and flowers for the plant are both very striking. The leaves are thick and succulent, with a semi glossy appearance. The leaves are dark purple to black in color. The flower clusters grow on dark red stems above this foliage. The clusters are very large and are dark pink in color. The flowers form in summer, before blooming in the fall. They are very attractive to butterflies and other pollinators.

Sedum 'Night Embers' grow to a height of 24 to 28 inches, with a similar spread. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. It tends to grow best in full sunlight. Night Embers does well to average to minimal amounts of water in well drained soils.
