Tough Love Spiderwort is a perennial plant. It is a compact growing plant, with a great deal of ornamental appeal. This would be a great choice for a variety of landscaping spaces. The narrow arching leaves are deep green in color. The strong, tough leaves will keep a nice appearance through the growing seasons. Tough Love Spiderwort will have attractive clusters of reddish-purple flowers. They will bloom late spring, with scattered rebloom through the summer.

Tradescantia 'Tough Love' will be 10 to 12 inches tall, with a width of 12 to 16 inches. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 4 to 8. Tough Love Spiderwort can grow in full to part sunlight conditions. It will do well with average amounts of moisture in well drained soils.
