General Information
Little Adder Hyssop is an ornamental perennial plant. It is moderate in size, reaching to 18 inches tall and wide. This plant will typically form as a compact clump of foliage, with flower spikes held above. The size and ornamental qualities make this plant great for a variety of areas. The leaves of the Little Adder are ovate in shape, with a slightly glossy appearance. They are mint green in color, keeping a nice appearance through the growing season. The flower spikes are more abundant than other hyssops. They have deep purple buds, opening to lavender-purple flowers. Great for attracting butterflies, hummingbirds and other pollinators.

We treat your plant
like it's ours
- Before your plant leaves our greenhouse, it’s wrapped and supported to handle the journey ahead. Pots are sealed to prevent spills, plants are gently netted and staked for stability, and boxes are packed with biodegradable peanuts to absorb movement along the way. Thoughtful packaging helps your plant arrive happy, healthy, and ready to grow.
When your plant
arrives
- Plants may show signs of stress after shipping, such as bent stems or drooping leaves. This is normal. Prompt unpacking, proper watering, and a short recovery period in the shade help plants rebound quickly. Avoid heavy pruning and give your plant time to adjust as it establishes in your landscape.
