General Information
Stained Glass Hosta is a great plant that will fit well in your landscape. It is perfect for borders, planting beds or any other shaded area. This is large sized hosta, growing up to four feet wide. The leaves are large, growing upwards of 10.5 inches long. They are golden-green in color, with a wide dark green margin. Flowers grow on 30 inch tall stems above the foliage. They appear mid to late summer and are light lavender in color. Hummingbirds are attracted to the flowers.

Hosta 'Stained Glass' grows to 12 to 15 inches tall, with a spread of 3 to 4 feet. It is recommended for USDA climate zones 3 to 9. It does best in full to partial shade. Stained Glass tends to grow well with average to moderate amounts of moisture in well drained soils. Hostas are largely pest free and low maintenance, taking occasional slug or snail damage.
